Waterford Computer Clinic is an independent computer repair shop at 42 Barrack Street, Waterford, in business since 2014. We fix desktop PCs, laptops and Apple Macs, as well as smartphones, tablets and games consoles, for home users and local businesses.

What’s wrong with your computer?
Pick the problem that sounds like yours. Not sure? Just bring it in and we’ll check it for free.
Won’t turn on
Often a charger, battery, charging port or power fault. We find the cause free of charge. Battery replacement from €65.
Running slow
Takes ages to start or open programs. A clean-up or an SSD upgrade usually makes it fast again.
Cracked or black screen
Broken, flickering or lines on the screen. Laptop screen replacement from €135, fitting included.
Viruses or pop-ups
Removal from €90, your files kept. Never call a number shown in a pop-up and never pay to unlock.
Spilled a drink on it
Switch it off now, don’t charge it and don’t test it. Bring it in as soon as you can.
Hot, noisy or switching off
Usually dust and dried thermal paste. We clean and service the cooling system, from €65.
Lost files or dead drive
In many cases we can save your photos and documents. Stop using the drive and bring it in.
Windows errors or won’t start
Error messages, endless restarts or a blue screen. Windows repair from €90, files kept.

3. Repaired and covered
Most repairs are done in 1–3 working days. Collect your computer with a 90-day warranty on the repair.
No fix, no fee: if we can’t fix your device, you don’t pay for the repair attempt. No surprises: if the job turns out bigger than expected, we contact you first and never do extra work without your OK. Your files are safe: we keep your photos and documents when we repair your computer.

Every repair is different. For other jobs the price depends on your device and the fault, so we confirm it before any work starts. No fix, no fee.
Is it worth repairing?
As a rule of thumb, a repair makes sense when it costs less than about half of what your computer is worth. We’ll tell you honestly.
If it isn’t worth fixing, choose a refurbished laptop from €145. It’s serviced and covered by warranty, and we can move your files across.
Common questions
How long does a repair take?
Most repairs are done in 1–3 working days. If parts need to be ordered it can take longer, and we tell you the expected time when we agree the price.
What if you can’t fix it?
No fix, no fee. If we can’t fix your device, you don’t pay for the repair attempt.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk in any time Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 18:00. If you prefer a set time, call 087 641 9553 or message us on WhatsApp first.
What should I bring?
The computer or laptop and its charger. If you can, back up important files before you come in.
Do I need to give you my password?
A password or PIN lets us test the computer properly after the repair. If you would rather not share it, tell us and we will work around it where possible.
Will I lose my files?
No. We keep your photos, documents and other files when we repair or reinstall Windows. If your hard drive is failing, we tell you before we start.
Do you repair Macs?
Yes. We repair and upgrade MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and iMac computers. Mac parts cost more, so we confirm the price for your model before starting.
